Why Try?

I was sitting here for a while wondering what exactly to blog about. I wanted it to draw you in, make you feel as though you were right there, spin a tale to keep you wanting more.
Then, I thought NO you don't want to be right here.
Today I talk about teenage boys (see why you don't want to be here now?). WTH? I've talked about them before and I have come to the conclusion we will probably like each other again in another 4 years or so. If they live that long.
Where did my nice polite boys go? And who the hell are these burping, eye rolling, bitchy monsters that took their place? And where did they so chauvinistic about some things?
I did not raise them like that. My husband is definitely not like that.
Here are a few examples:
A few days a week I don't prepare anything for supper - it's like root, hog, or die here. My oldest boy will not eat and will bitch because I did not make dinner. Last time I looked I wasn't the maid here and his hands or feet are not broken. He can cook his own damn dinner. Or go out for dinner. I don't care just leave me out of it.
My second oldest makes comments about certain girls (easy girls I guess you could say) but doesn't think there is anything wrong with guys doing the same thing. I sooooo beg to differ and have put him in his place about it every time I heart his lips flapping about it.
I'm starting to wonder WHY TRY?
I should become mute.
I can watch them be asses and save my breath.
Ack! Calgon take me somewhere!
p.s: My boys are pretty good a lot of the time. It's just when we go through a bad day/week/month altogether I want to kick someone's butt!
