My First Antique!

I am so excited! I got my first antique on Monday night and I love it! What is it, you ask?
A Piedmont Sewing Machine in an oak case. Not exciting for everyone, I know. But it is for me! It works people it works! I was making a blouse on it last night. It sews beautifully and sounds wonderful!
I go to the dentist in about an hour and hopefully they can do something. It's not as painful as it was but still hurts. I have a lovely bump on my jaw so I know for sure there's some infection. Ewww.
Tomorrow night at midnight I quit smoking (again). And I am so ready. I just hate it all but what I hate most is being dependent on something like smoking. It's not so costly here because I get very cheap smokes but still health wise it is bad. I will be posting a quit meter to just kind of psych myself. I have quit before and sometimes it lasts years other times months. I am ready. I can't promise forever but I know it will be for a while..maybe that will lead into forever.
Now I just need to finish getting ready for the dentist so I'll say bye bye for now!

I love antiques:) Smoking is so difficult, but you can do it Wanda. Everytime you have the need to rant, just do it here. I know how hard the withdrawals are.
I would like to see a picture of the sewing machine too...:)
