Ready...Set...STOP!

I had this whole post written in my head and I was going to post a picture of the aprons I made for a business just so you could all see them. But my bil's camera is dead and we can't find the charger so it will have to wait.
I just read windy's last post and I am disgusted at what the world is coming to.
Last night my oldest boy was riding home on his bike when three twenty something's accused him of stealing thier bike that they just bought 2 weeks ago and then proceeded to beat him up. Um..hello? His bike was bought 2 years ago at Wal-Mart. Clearly this bike is no longer for sale in a store. We called the police (not because he was hurt) just to let them know so maybe it wouldn't happen again to someone else.
This is the second time it has happened to him this summer. Last time it was a bunch of 30 something's. And it also happened to my youngest as well. Although that time they actually took his bike while he was riding it and someone had to get it back for him.
I am tired of hearing the excuses..."it's the times you know".
I don't give a flying eff. If it's not yours DON'T touch it. From birth most people are taught not to steal. If you want something WORK for it.
What gives some one the right to just take someone else's stuff?
I'm pissed that nothing happens to these people...ever. Maybe anyone who does this should have 50 hours of community service...mandatory. Then maybe..just maybe...they'd think twice about doing it again.
Time to go sew...have a great night.
Take care
~huge hugs~
