Backwards From 10

Ever have a day where you feel like all you are doing in walking backwards?
That's me. Besides it being unbelievably HOT here in my not-so-air-conditioned house I feel like I can't accomplish a thing. At work today I blamed my stupidity on the heat. It was frying my brain. I swear I could hear it sizzling. And the mistakes I was making can prove it. On days like this I long for a call center job where it's air conditioned. I'll even put up with crabby customers...just let me cool down.
About my sewing - I'll be posting some pics from the store where my clothes are on sale. I'm so excited. I've designed an affordable plus line and now I am trying out smaller sizes to see how it will go. I was hoping that someday it will lead to something and maybe it will. For now, I'm having a blast just designing and sewing. SO, if anyone has requests let me know and I'll see what I can do.
My writing has slowed down some and while it is still one of my greatest joys I found I was getting discouraged and it wasn't fun for me. So now, it's on the back burner but it's a still there calling me. Who knows maybe I'll answer it soon.
Everything else is going pretty good. The kids are still pulling their weight around here and that makes me pretty happy. Who the hell am I kidding? I'm ecstatic!!!
Time to fly...I've got an order for 12 aprons to get ready for Friday so I'll be back soon!

Oooo Maybe a famous designer some day....You never know, that would be great, huh. Then you could hire help, haha ;) the weather here is hot, but not unbearable. So yeah we've been pretty lucky so far. Although we have got our share of summer storms. But hey we needed the rain. Hope your week keeps getting better. love u

windy - I want rain....lotsa rain....to cool off. Sounds soooo nice. I love sewing. It's funny because I hated it 2 years ago and now I make my clothes...:) Love ya have a good night!

Lisa - It actually cooled down a little and the a/c is working way better.
Hopefully this stuff will sell. But I actually just made me first profits on Friday from some aprons I made for a business. Woohoo!!!
